One Unforgettable Summer

Twenty-five tries. That's what it took.

Pablo spent the entire afternoon at Zuma Beach chasing one thing: standing up on a surfboard. Wipeout after wipeout, he kept paddling back out — and on try twenty-five, he finally popped up and rode the wave in! With the helpof his great instructor Ruben from our great surfers at Pelican Ocean Therapy, he got up FIVE TIMES that afternoon! The look on his face said it all.

That's what a CLF summer looks like. And there are SO many more stories like his…And this year, we gave that moment to more than 750 youth from historically underserved neighborhoods across Los Angeles-with our free-of-charge, Coastal Eco-Mariners Surf Camp Program.

Thank you to all of our INCREDIBLE FUNDERS, SPONSORS & INDIVIDUAL DONORS of CAMP FOR ALL:

CLF also greatly loves our wonderful community partner agencies — including The Metro L.A. Group of Boys & Girls Clubs (Watts/Willowbrook, Bell Gardens, Venice & Challengers B&G Clubs) The Oxnard Boys & Girls Club, the Variety Boys & Girls Club, A Place Called Home, Door of Hope, Hope Gardens, North Valley Caring Services, and My Friend's Place — and our amazing staff, CITs, Pencil 2 Planet volunteers, and the Pelican Ocean Therapy team. Thank you all for a truly unforgettable summer! #weloveyou *Please check out more amazing photos, and videos-HERE!
