What a GREAT week at Surf Camp! 🏄🏾♂️🏄🏿♂️🏄🏿🥰🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙Thank you so much again to our amazing partners at Leo Carillo Junior Lifeguards -and to Operation Progress LA for bringing along the sweetest, most thoughtful and SMARTEST campers to enjoy the waves, the beach, and some awesome new friends… This cohort of scholars just met at surf camp, and will be spending the year together as they enter private school together for the first time! We were so glad and proud to be part of this bonding process and experience with them…
And…WOW!! 🏄🏾♂️🏄🏾♂️🏄🏿♂️🤙🤙🤙 Armiahdr’e decided today upon arrival that he wanted to try SURFING for the very first time, and LOOK at the amazing results! Thank you to the wonderful counselors from our great partners at @leocarrillojuniorlifeguards , and to our awesome partners at @operationprogressla -for bringing the most wonderful campers this week! CLF really has had an incredible week at surf camp! It has been an incredible experience, and we are so very grateful to everyone involved… The confidence level achieved by feeling a mastery of the ocean, a renewed sense of hope in your own abilities, and a wonderful, restorative, refreshing (and FUN!) week, truly has incomparable results, especially for the youth we all serve…Shout-out to super-cool counselor Dylan, who totally bonded with Armiahdr’e, and was surfing with him for the whole last hour, as well! (He’s a natural now!) And to Cato, Miss Gloria, Miss Laura and Miss Taniya from OPLA! ) You guys are truly the best. ❤️🏄🏾♀️🏄🏿🏄🏾♂️🏄🏾♀️🏄🏿🏄🏾♂️🏄🏾♀️🏄🏿🏄🏾♂️🤙
